Repurpose your old pillowcases, sheets, tablecloths, t-shirts etc.
These blocks are a blend of the correct ratios of beeswax, rosin, and oils. All you need for making your own beeswax wraps. Also great for re-coating old wraps.
There are two easy ways to do this:
You can grate the bar (grates very easily), sprinkle the gratings over fabric, and then iron with wax paper in between.
Or you can melt the block on a very low heat in a pot, and put your fabric square in an electric frypan on very low heat, or on a warm oven tray. Not too hot as you will not only burn your fabric, you will also make the wax coating too thin, and just paint it on with a paintbrush.
Non toxic so use any pot you have in your kitchen (just wipe out with paper towel while the wax blend is still hot, then wash as usual).
30gram blocks - enough to do 3 good sized wraps.
